The Sunday Offering

We're taking this fine Sunday to learn a little religion, thanks to a couple of tutors we have in town for the weekend. Maybe some of it will rub off on me...but certainly the kids are thankful to have the attention...and presents...

A few announcements:

1. Tomorrow is a VERY special "MISSION: Monday". Deb and I will be announcing our year end GRAND PRIZE DRAWING...and you won't believe what will be up for grabs. Come see three great blogs, AND get entered for our weekly giveaway as well as the BIG ONE...

2. Thanks to everyone who responded to my request for help yesterday concerning Blog readers...I had envisioned that people would have at least a FEW different types of blog reader that they vehemently support, but it turns out almost everyone uses Google Reader. Clearly I have been missing something... I will figure how to do a "How-To" post soon. Thanks to all of you for your instruction!!

3. I'm allergic to something I am eating. My tongue is swelling up like a cow's tongue. More later.

4. (spoken in a newscaster's voice)

I'm not wearing any underpants...Film at 11.

Church? Let's just say...we got thru. My skin bubbled a bit when we walked it, but it calmed down as I begged for forgiveness...

Ummm..that tongue thing sounds pretty bad-- hopefully you took some Benedryl. BAHAHAHA Oh, and I don't like using readers-- I cannot get the hang of using it for some stupid reason. I love signing up for blogs by email, or I click on them from my blog list and read them that way.

I'm not a churchy person, but hope everyone enjoyed the day:)

Wait until they start doing the sacrifices and chants...just kidding... I go to church and most of the people are normal most of the time.

Did your skin bubble because you weren't wearing pants to church? That's a sin I think. "I will punish those that enter my church without pants with bubbly skin and a fat tongue." Hezekiah 34:8
Yep. There it is.

What a wonderful picture. And, lol at begging for forgiveness.

posthumous pointer
To laugh often and love much; to win the respect of intelligent persons and the affection of children; to earn the approbation of honest citizens and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to give of one's self; to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to have played and laughed with enthusiasm and sung with exultation; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived - this is to have succeeded. - Emerson
