Hee hee. I have pictures of my boys in cages too. Oh and the one where the youngest fell in the toilet and I wouldn't save him until I caught it on film. Yeah, I think you are totally safe :)
That is funny. We don't have any pets, but I'm sure if we did, that would be my kids favorite place!
okay, i have the EXACT picture with both of my kids in the dog's crate. except mine weren't wearing any clothes and the youngest one was slurping on an empty can of jolt cola. i kid you not.
MAN-- I soooooo needed one of those kennels/crates today. Darn.
*LOL* Personally we could never keep the kid(s) out of the dog crate. It's so much fun. Now if only we could have convinced the dog of that. ;)
Its disgusting in that cage too...she probably has parvo or Hanta virus now...
What a lovely post. I wasn't a CPS worker. I was the worker who tried to get crack whore moms back with their kids. Fun!
I dont understand what the big deal is with crack whores anyway...are we just pissed that they are good at something?
You mean you aren't supposed to keep them caged?
So are the kids trying to tell us something with their love for dog cages?? Both of mine have done the same thing!!
I wish we still had our cage somedays. Well ok everyday to be honest. DFCS I am only joking. Nice Jay
Came over from Angie's Wordful Wednesday! That is a great picture. She looks like she is having a blast. My kids always liked crawling into small containers, making forts and playing in closets! Very funny post!
Haha. That'll teach her not to bite!
Seriously though, very cute. We were visiting some people at their house one time and the first thing my daughter did was climb in the dog kennel. (Our dog kennel is too small, even for a two year old.)
I'm playing along this week-check it out. Cutest puppy I have ever seen. Cooper will share his cone if she wants.
I like the title you have given it...very suitable! My kids have never climbed in a crate, but they have eaten cat food and dog biscuits before. Does that count as the same thing?
You are hilarious. Cute photo!
It rubs the baby lotion on its skin or else it gets the mange again.
LOL. Nice pic! By the way, thanks for your comment on my last post. It was greatly appreciated :) I hear ya on just having friends over...I gotta stop expecting so much! And you are a totally right....it IS only going to get better :) Please tell me that with age there comes clarity? Or maybe just a better sense of humor?
We've always discussed the idea of crate training our children, but I have heard you have to start them very young to get them used to it, I think we missed the boat on this one....ah well.
She looks very content (ecstatic even)....what a cute cute pic!!
love this!
My kids play in our dog cage as well!
LOL! Too funny!
Happy WW!
Thats a cute picture. When I look at this picture all I can think of is "How much is that puppy in the window?"
So funny! Love the smile on her face.
Nice Jay!! She'll learn the proper way to raise HER kids now!! :)
Boy, you aren't right. Thanks for cracking me up, AGAIN. I appreciate your humor and read your blog religiously.
that is too funny, do you know where I can get a few more?
I can't think of a better title.....although, I'm confused. What's with CPS being involved? Are we NOT supposed to lock our kids in the dog cage at night? :)
Great photo - I have a dog, and a crate, but no kids. However, I finally put the crate away because the mutt's favorite place to sleep is under my covers!
Oh my gosh, you are hilarious! Love that shot! I think it should say "Don't feed the animals... candy".
Too funny, Jay.... or will it be "J" from now on? Come on... you know you want to take my advice! Think of the conversation starter it could be :).
So fun to have you at GNO last night. Thanks for the awesome donation. You're such a fun gal pal. Well, I don't really think of you as a gal. I even changed the reference in today's Topic Talk. Check it out at http://mommygossip-gno.blogspot.com.
OK... bye... Jay or just J! Happy WW!
What is it with kids and pet cages? My youngest gets in at my mother in laws every time!
Hah! Funny....I would hate to misbehave in your house :)
I have a pic of my oldest in a dog crate too! I call it: DHS case #1185!
Love it!
We have similar pics, so I guess we should be awaiting a visit from CPS, too! LOL
Love the blog, hope you'll come visit mine soon.
Crating the kids....my kind of parent!
OMG too funny!
At least she looks comfortable on that lambs skin!
Found you through the monday contest.
Crate training works great. You just have to buy bigger crates when they hit their teens, or the crate will leave marks. I know from experience.
LMAO!! That's a hilarious picture. "doin time" - love it.
oh man, I've got to get me one of those--can we fit teens in there? I will take 4!!!!!
Watch out or I'll bite 'cha! That is funny...now if only you could really keep 'em in there!
Please tell me I'm not the only one that has Blazing Saddle giggles every time I hear that song...
Em
P.S. again, your daughter is WAY more adorable than mine. You know, the one that resides in my imagination.
LMAO! We have a "baby cage" in our living room right now (well, it's really one of those gates that make a big loop) but the kids can still climb out the top. I'll have to look into a crate... ;)
LOL! That was hysterical!
Well look how happy she is in there! Does the dog sleep on her princess bed? LOL!
jay i never know what to expect when i visit you, but that is hilarious!!!
"Meow" At least that is what my kid would be sayin'...
ha ha
well yours was really good hmmm....
how about
We went to Walmart for some cheap wine and forgot to let her out of her cage...But when we got back we threw back a few glasses of this awesome wine with the CPS crowd and everything was cool. no questions asked.
not as funny as yours a tad bit dumb
Happy W Wed 2U!
That is so cute :)
Love the pic. My friends and I have talked about putting our kids in cages for years...lol.
