Well, here is where you get to sit through yet another GD pumpkin patch photo spread...It was a beautiful morning, and I am leaving out the 95% of photos that had a screaming child in them.
I really like you bloggy people, so just know I am thinking of YOUR sanity when I say, "I'm glad you weren't here."

posthumous pointer
To laugh often and love much; to win the respect of intelligent persons and the affection of children; to earn the approbation of honest citizens and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to give of one's self; to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to have played and laughed with enthusiasm and sung with exultation; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived - this is to have succeeded. - Emerson

o lord, not you too.
you all DO look adorable. i would have never guessed you were all on the brink of murder/suicide.
the gals know how to work the 'ween fashion!
Awww... it looks like a serene trip to the pumkin patch to me. What could possibly go awry? lol. Oh yeah, you have 2 small children with you.
cute pumpkins! heehee!
Hey! I think I see my kiddos in the background.
Love that pumpkin patch!! Didn't know you guys were in this neck of the woods.
Very cool. And very cute!!
I expect the obligatory bluebonnet pictures come Spring.
Em
LOL! Did you take all of those happy pictures and then make a break for it?
Agggghhhh pumpkins! We haven't made it to a patch yet but after being on so many blogs it feels like I have. Cute pics.
your kids are very cute. I haven't seen many pictures of your little boy! And I really like your daughters outfit :)
That's why I just can't force myself to do stuff like that. I'm sure my kids will berate me for it later when they discover the lack of "occasion" photos of themselves. I suck.
P.S. The 5% of the photos are pretty darling and your daughter definitely favors you!
HAHA -- you joined the darkside!!!
By the way, I don't think ANYONE actually has a pleasant PP experience -- ours sucked, but I didn't mention that part. Gotta keep up appearances, ya know.
Behind the smiles, are the tears. Been there. Done that!
I think that the pumpkin patch trip is way more painful than my trip to see HSM3....don't tell anyone, but I actually teared up at the end! We will be heading to the patch tomorrow to try and get those 5% shots.
You do have the most beautiful family!!
wow, great pics! Love the Halloween attire!
Your wife looks absolutely beautiful in the last pic and we'd never know the day wasn't entirely filled with smiles if you hadn't of told us!
the family and i had to forgo our annual trip to the pumpkin patch this year. we just moved to chicago, and the closest farm is something like an hour an a half away. mama wasn't having any of that.
it looks like you all had a great time, though apparently, looks can be deceiving.

awww cuties....i love your wifes shirt!!
You guys got the Backyardigans at your pumpkin patch? I'm seriously jealous. All we ever get are those Kutsey Kountry Kids Kutouts. I'd so love some variety
These really are gorgeous pictures. The pumpkins just glow!
And this is so funny! So true!
When I look at our family pictures of The Pumpkin Patch I see smiling faces, however, I remember what happened either right before that picture, or right after.
(If I had a camera with a faster shutter we would have a lot more family pictures that we could actually show!)
