WW - Grape KneeHigh

First day of Kindergarten, over.

She cried.

Mom cried.

Dad...was strong...

She came home full of life and stories.

And she was fine, without us.

We played "Moose in the House" with our Kindergartener.

Mom planned Day 2.

And everyone went to bed. Except me.

She's going back tomorrow.

She's fine.

Mom's fine.

And I'm....strong.

more Wordful Wednesdays, please go visit my friend Angie,
who is a tiny redheaded package of AWESOMENESS.

Aaaawwww....so sweet. I had a 5th grader and a 1st grader and I still cried. I am sure come Sept. 8th when my baby starts preschool I will be a blubbering mess!!

My youngest of three starts kindergarten Friday. There may be a tear or two shed during my happy dance, but somehow, I doubt it.

Poor Jay. No one ever tells you how hard it can be. (I wouldn't know. I've always done the happy dance when my kids go to school). Kidding. Kidding. The hardest part for me is dealing with the friend stuff........

Hey, your back!

I hear you. My kids start therapy/preschool in the fall, and I am going to try to stay strong. I think I'll be sad to see them go the first day. :(

To laugh often and love much; to win the respect of intelligent persons and the affection of children; to earn the approbation of honest citizens and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to give of one's self; to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to have played and laughed with enthusiasm and sung with exultation; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived - this is to have succeeded. - Emerson
