Man, that SUCKS. We did alright this year, only because we had kid, huge medical expenses, and got to write off the taxes on a new car. But the year before we had to pay those stupid suckers, too. I hated, hated, hated it.

Ouch! I haven't written my check yet. Don't know why, but I feel the need to push that deadline...

Well, at least humor isn't lost on the situation ;)
And at least you got it done!

What do you know?!?! Mine said the same thing!

I thought of you tonight. As I was watching Britney gyrate, live, on stage. I don't understand why you wouldn't want your daughter to emulate her.

Apparently, other parents didn't get the memo that she is now a whore, and they allowed their 6 year-old daughters to go.

Did you write Bite Me on the memo line?

enough said, right?

I will say that one of the finest benefits of being a single mom is that I actually get a write off (OK, I'm a freelance writer--that explains a lot about my income) and financial aid that zipped two daughters thru college for...well, almost zippo.

Just get the check in the mail and have a shot of whisky.

Oh gosh.. I'm worried about you. bailing out the government like that? It's sweet and all, but.. don't you think it's a little overkill, maybe you should step it down a notch, help bail out GM or some rediculous bank or something, I mean CEOs deserve bonuses too ya know??

cheer up.. could be worse? we could have no job to pay taxes on, huh? I know, not helping.

Would have made my day (as in hilarious post), but I read your other post and email first.

YOu had TO PAY the US government at the end of the year? That's just plain not right. Not right at all. Do you think anyone with clout will read your message? j/k.
