I feel sick for a whole new reason.

Don't know how many of you caught Pauline's (OhMommy) post this weekend, but I want to encourage you today to go read it, and join me, her, and millions of other Americans in our rage. Read some of the excerpts, and think about it.

I feel sick. And under this legislation, sick is not a place I will want to be.

Is this the "change" you were looking for?

Me, not so much.

Amen. I am so irate over all of this I can't even compose a complete sentence on the subject.

I have to say reading the comments on the post are very interesting. If you have the time, read through them all. Im amazed at how many people abroad do not like their state mandated health care.

I love this bill... it's so ridiculous that it will never pass. (OMG, please don't let me eat my words).

Tums didn't help.

Should I be surprised or frightened that more people are not up to speed on this? Obviously not reading my FFFT ;-)

Off to open a box of wine...

(however, extremely impressed that the comments have not gotten too ugly.)

thanks for posting this Jay. I actually try not to hear too much about any major bills that this administration is trying to pass because it is all S**T. This one makes my blood boil! I can only see the effects it will have on the way I can take care of my children... And what happens to children are very sick and need good medical care, fast... Stand in line?

Thanks for the link. I followed & put one on my blog as well. I couldn't have said it better myself.

I wonder if this is the "change" the American people had in mind when they voted him in?

Really hope it never passes.
It's ridiculous.

I left quite the lengthy comment over there about it. (So much so, it took me 8 or 9 comments to complete!) Go on over and check it out.

Am actually thinking about writing about it, coming from someone who has already had this kind of insurance - the military.

I read her post this weekend and honestly, I thought I was really pretty informed... until I read her post. i am a news junkie, but didn't know about half of those things. TERRIBLE!

ps So glad you linked to her. More people NEED to know!

To laugh often and love much; to win the respect of intelligent persons and the affection of children; to earn the approbation of honest citizens and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to give of one's self; to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to have played and laughed with enthusiasm and sung with exultation; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived - this is to have succeeded. - Emerson
