You have lost your punctuation privileges.

Ok, that's it.

If you don't know what an apostrophe is for, you are ordered to cease using them.

And before you waste the energy to tell me I am an elitist hypocrite, be advised...I already know. I knew before you did because I'm better than you.

By the way, you can find this punctuation abomination as well as many more at HomeGoods.

If you need me, I will be filling my afternoon looking for semicolon opportunities in Domestics.

I don't expect everyone to be a grammar master, but if you're going to mass produce your product, perhaps a couple extra edits would be appropriate!

I'm glad I'm not the only anal one who notices those things. I REALLY hate when giant billboards have grammatical errors on them. Is there really that short of a supply of editors? Or can companies no longer afford to hire them?

OK, well obviously you need to be English.. a couple of years ago a book about punctuation pet peeves became a London Times Bestseller!!

Eats, shoot and leaves. by Lynne Truss

Seriously the funniest book on punctuation and rants ever!! The author went around London adding punctuation to the movie posters for Two Weeks Notice!!

Now that is an obsessive elitist!!

OMG, I see that done all the time. Even by lawyers!

And I had a secretary once who changed a brief I drafted without my knowledge. I signed it and allowed her to file it, only to later discover that she changed "cinnamon roll" to "Cinnamon roll." I was mortified. That's when we had a little talk about the scope of her duties being limited to correcting page breaks and other formatting issues, but NOTHING ELSE. Oi.
